What else needs to be done to my T400?

Alrighty... here's what I have currently:

T400 (2765-T6U):

Core 2 Duo P8400
4GB PC8500 RAM(upgraded from 2GB RAM)
Hitachi 500GB, 7200RPM primary HDD, WD 640GB, 5400RPM secondary HDD(Ultrabay)
OCZ Slate 'SSD' 16GB primary flash storage(ExpressCard), 16GB SDHC secondary flash storage
DVD Multi-burner optical drive(Ultrabay)
Intel GMA X4500/ATi HD3470 hybrid graphics
1440x900 LCD display, CFFL backlit, no camera
Windows 7 Pro x64

Firstly, I think this is a pretty high-spec machine except for the processor. I have about a year and three months of warranty remaining, but I'm not extremely worried about voiding it; the T400 has proven to have pretty reliable hardware.

My question is is there any more 'must have' mods I can do to this system, or should I keep it as is?

I will admit that while my experience with this system has been stellar I just don't like the display... even for my nonprofessional tastes it just stinks. The viewing angles are horrid and I can't ever get it to calibrate correctly. I know I'm not going to get a Flexview display for this system, but are there any decent quality aftermarket panels that might do alright? How about the LED backlit versions... are they any good? If I were to upgrade the display, I'd love to get the integrated camera as well. Is this possible, or would I just be throwing my money at nothing?

Also... are there any fixes at all for this horrid Thinklight? I do a lot of work at night and while my touch typing is alright I use it for extra illumination in a dark room. With my previous ThinkPads this worked out well; in the T400 it's simply just blinding.

I like the specs on your T400! I do not know how the CCFL looks in a T400 so I can't help you out with comparisons. I do know that the LED panel I have in mine is very bright! While it is nice to have a bright screen the viewing angles aren't too good. I have my T400 hooked up to an Acer monitor and the viewing angles on it surpass the Thinkpad LCD!

I'm pretty sure that the LG 1440X900 LED panel is the best one for our T400's.

In case you need the part number for the LG panel it is LP141WP2-TLB1. It looks like they are going for around $111-159 from what I see on Google shopping.
