T510 Error Msg: Display Driver Stopped Responding

Here is the intermittent problem I'm experiencing. It's happened three times in a month. I'm running 64 bit Windows 7 Pro.
Using my T510 working in Firefox (only) for about an hour, when the display went black for a moment, then came back up and a message briefly appeared from the lower right side of the taskbar / notification area saying: "Display driver stopped responding and has successfully recovered"
It has the NVIDIA NVS 3100M
Driver Version: 8.16.11.8825
Release Date: 1/12/2010 (this is the latest driver) All other updates are current including the BIOS.
Ideas?
Thanks!

My 3470 does that occasionally. I assume it's a driver fault in both cases, but for me it never actually poses an issue except for crashing whatever 3D game/app I was using that necessitated using the discrete card.

Yes... I've got it narrowed down to a driver issue, but was looking for a fresh idea, as I've tried every driver to the best of my knowledge.

This may sound bitter and sarcastic, but:
Put up with it. I mean it
If anything, think of yourself as being very, very lucky compared to the once-a-day-BSOD with earlier drivers. (Read: My desktop's 8800GTX.) Being able to actually recover from a driver level chokeup without having to reboot is great.
NVIDIA is know for terrible drivers.

Same hardware and software. Nope, doesn't happen to me, knock on wood. Though I'm never running just Firefox, there's always something else on the taskbar.

I rarely update video drivers on my T61p because it can take me up to a week to find an Nvidia driver that won't do that.
I use

An interesting read on the topic of driver stability in Windows 7.

I think there is a
newer driver than what you have. I think your driver version is supposed to be 8.17.xxxxx if it was the latest one.

Thanks to everyone who posted. Here's the update:
I had tried every driver available via Lenovo & NVIDIA'S sites, to no avail. So in lieu of other options, and due to the fact it was becoming a frequent problem, (daily) I decided to do a clean install of Win 7 64.
Now several days later I'm happy to report that the problem seems to be resolved, at least so far. If something changes I will keep you posted.
Cheers...

My next suggestion was going to be use a program like Drivercleaner to completely remove the video card drivers and then do a fresh install of the drivers.
I guess a wipe/reinstall of Windows 7 works just as well... haha

A quick update. After the reinstall, I now have over 80 hours of run time without a single problem. It seems that a fresh install was all it needed.
Cheers...
