Manually switching graphics card on T410S?

Is there a way to manually decide to use the Intel or the Nvidia card on the T410S with switchable graphics?

I've had my machine for a day now, and I did a reinstall, and have put a minimum of the Thinkvantage tools on my laptop. I have NOT installed the "Power manager" as I prefer using the windows 7 power plans. It is easier to figure out what is happening power wise IMO.

The only place I've seen that you can control it, is in the Powerplan settings / GPU settings / NvidiaHybrid Graphics

There its possible to set it depending on power options, and timing. But i would like to force it to use one or the other, depending on what I am doing. E.g. playing a game while on batteries, or forcing it onto intel graphics, even though its plugged in.

Anybody found a way to do that??

AFAIK the only way to switch graphics outside of power manager is to do it in BIOS.

Yup. In BIOS there is an option to alway use discrete, or intel graphics, or go with the switchable option.

It should also be possible to set up different power plans, but there is a few things I don't understand in the PP options. Even after reading the documentation it is not clear to me what the "Pause before Saving" means. And what it means to put the GPU to sleep? Does it wake up when I use the computer again??
