I am about to hook up an external monitor to my dock and I wanted to know if there was any way to change the behavior of closing the lid specifically while the computer is docked.
Right now it is set up to go into standby when the lid is closed. Is there a way to change it so it doesn't do that when it is docked? The auto standby is convenient when i'm not docked but its a hinderance when i want to use the external monitor.
I am aware the power manager will let me set it up so the computer doesn't enter standby when it's running on AC power, and that's close, but is it possible to keep it specific for being docked?
Thanks in advance!
Change lid behavior when docked?
