T400-which makememory shoud I buy?

i am getting transcend 2gb for Indian Rs.2800/- 2GB.
The seller knows less than me about cycles and dual channel AND I know nothing.
Can some one help?.
I can try to get kingston but it costs much more here....
T400,p8400,2gb(only),xp sp3

Unlike older Thinkpads, the newer ones aren't as picky about memory. I'd just get the least expensive one. You can always exchange it if it's defective. I don't know, perhaps it's different in India. Good Luck.

I am in India.If any member can deliver @mumbai,I will foot his bill for a good lunch
apart from the full memory price.
some kingston memory vendor fell slighted and gave me the memory cheaper than transcend memory.
so now i have 4 Gb on my contraption(XP sp3 32 bit) ..till 4gb chips become pocket friendly.
