4th of July Sale?

#1 Post by LodenCorp » Thu Jun 24, 2010 6:00 pm

I completely missed out on a great deal on the T410 in May which I regret. Will there be a 4th of July sale? Does anyone know if it was a better sale than Father's Day and such from previous years? Thanks.

I'm waiting to see myself. I get the lenovo emails, but so far, nothing about a 4th of July sale.

Lenovo rarely announce future sales well in advance, and they do not have the exact same sales every year, probably because they don't want to become too predictable. If their sale events were predictable, then almost everyone would be buying stuff only during those events.

Have you used deal sites to keep track of computer deals? The main one that I use is dealnews.com. For example, this seems pretty good: http://dealnews.com/Lenovo-Think-Pad-T4 ... 72298.html. But don't order through dealnews.com; instead, order through the eCoupons link at the top left corner of this forum to get 4% cash back.

There's a 10% sale right now until June 30th. I have a good feeling the 4th of July sale will start the day after from July 1st to July 4th. In May, they not only had 10% with student discount but they had extra discounts on upgrades so hopefully they do that this time.

I am pretty sure there will be something very interesting. Usually national days are the good time to announce sells. I am waiting for the Canada day, on July 1st. I am betting on a 20% off coupon - at least.

4th of July Sale?

I was totally gutted to see the recent sale end. No more hesitating, I'm sure they will have something resembling a promotion for the fourth, fingers crossed it's a good one so I can opt for all the options.... PLEASE!

Yeah, I could've gotten a loaded 410 for an amazing price, but it was too soon to get a laptop and I was hoping the 4th of July sales were going to be better. If they aren't, I'll be pretty disappointed.

Here is the lenovo 4th of July sale. Looks like its the same 15% discount they were running for Father's Day. :(

Am i missing something or does it appear that the prices have actually stayed the same on some models? i'm looking to buy a t410 with discrete graphics and i was pricing one out for about 1200-1300 last week with no sales... and now i tried to set up the same system hoping i'd be able to get 10-15% off that price and the before discount price ended up in the 1400 range and the after coupon brought it back down to the 1200 range a few dollars higher than it was last week!
It does look like all the express ship and other special offer models have stayed the same so those are a good deal, but how can i get a discrete model this weekend without thinking i've been bamboozled?
