T410 stutter

#1 Post by buckalho » Mon Jul 12, 2010 12:02 am

Dear community,

For some reason, whenever I play games or even watch video on youtube, sometimes the picture stutters while the sound still playing. Does anybody has an idea why this happens?

Tried everything that I can think of but no avail (video driver, hdd driver and configuration, power management settings, video settings).

by the way, it happened again once as I type this. the screen stutters but I can move the mouse.

Please helppp.

Check for background processes in task manager that might be taking up CPU or system resources. I've played more youtube videos that I can count on my T410 without issue.

After doing some research, i found out that a lot of people are having similar issue (skipping video but sound keeps playing).

It seems to be intel specific issue...

Does anybody notices occasion "freeze" on his/her T410?

I'm trying further to resolve this annoying problem.
I found out that dell users also experiencing the same issue over their i540-integrated Intel HD.

Can I ask a favor from any t410 out there that use factory win7 image to post his/her device manager screenshot?

I'm trying to replace as many microsoft driver with the appropriate driver.
