video problem with docking T410s

Hi all, when I dock my T410s in the Mini Dock Series 3, the screen (on the external monitor, connected via DVI) goes crazy. I'm not quite sure how to describe it, it shakes side to side periodically, almost like something you might see when a monitor first syncs. Has anyone else seen this? The problem does not seem to occur if I boot the computer while it is in the dock, but that sort of defeats the purpose of hot dock/undock. Any ideas? I'm running 64-bit Win7, have the Intel gfx in my 410s, and am running the latest video drivers from Lenovo.

I don't know what is wrong, but can confirm that my T410s (has SG though) does not have this problem. In my case, however, the Fn+F3 doesn't work properly (see
http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=88810) and the graphics card doesn't like my 24" LG monitor (image looked like it was at a much bigger resolution and was shifted up and to the left; apparently a known issue with some NVIDIA graphics cards and some LG monitors) but my two other monitors work fine.

Tonight I installed the latest BIOS and chipset drivers and the video driver right from the Intel website. The new driver did fix the annoying "highlighting in Office" bug, but it did not help with the violent flickering I'm seeing when docking. I experimented a bit, and it seems pretty consistent that if I boot while docked, then I can go in and out of the dock as many times as I want without a problem. But if I boot undocked, it always has a problem when docked. If anyone has any other ideas I'd appreciate hearing them...I'm not sure what other drivers might come into play here, and I don't want to go updating things randomly, since that can cause its own problems.
