Using T410 Bluetooth

#1 Post by w0qj » Thu Jul 22, 2010 3:39 pm

Hi All,

My T410 (2522-RE3) comes with Bluetooth according to sales brochure.

Now I wish to transfer some digital photos from my mobile phone to my T410 via Bluetooth, how can I do this?

Looking through my (Win7-Pro 32-bit) program list, I cannot find any program that can control Bluetooth from my T410 ?

The only anecdotal evidence that there is Bluetooth on my T410:

a) There was a Bluetooth applet (BTTray.exe) that apparently starts upon bootup, as displayed in my StartUp folder in Program Folder.

b) There was a directory for Bluetooth function on my hard drive, but I cannot start any of these Bluetooth *.EXE programs in there:

C:\Program Files\ThinkPad\Bluetooth Software
C:\Program Files\ThinkPad\Bluetooth Software\BTTray.exe

~Anyone able to get T410 Bluetooth to connect to your mobile phone?

Yip > my T410s works with Iphone & B'Berry ,,, etc phone

HOLD DOWN Fn and then Press F5 key and you SHOIULD see another screen apear
-than check & see if BT is ON....>
-than you have to make sure your BT (on T410) is 'discoverable'....

should work > unless your got HARDWARE problems << you check in Device Manager for hardware status>

Hope this helps

Ciao
