BSOD - STOP: 0x00000007B

I have a new T410. I wanted to load a fresh version of XP. I am using a slipstreamed disk that includes SP3. The machine BSOD as soon as the initial driver loading is completed. The same thing happens with any version of windows.

I think the issue is that the corp image I am replacing uses point sec as a encryption protection. The drive was not encrypted when I deleted the partitions. I feel that the MBR is still under that protection. i have not been able to load anything that will replace the MBR.

Thoughts please?

Did you slipstream Intel SATA (ICH10M?) drivers into it? If not, go to BIOS and change AHCI to compatibility mode so that XP will install. But you will lose out on some of the nice SATA features. It's also a bit trickier to activate after the fact in XP, if I remember correctly.

Thanks so much!! XP is now installed and working. I added the drivers to a newly slip streamed install disk and XP is installed.
