T400 colors totally off after update

Hi again!

I have a problem with my T400 screen. After some updates (and I suspect the "ThinkPad Video Features(AMD Switchable Graphics(M8x)) for Windows 7 (32/64bit)" causes the problem) through the ThinkVantage System Update, my colors are not displayed well anymore. Seems like it's maybe unable to display 32bit colors?

I tried to take a photo of it (since PrintScreen obviously cannot demonstrate the problem), this is what rgb(15,15,15) looks like now: photo.
I think it's shows the problem pretty well.

I was unable to find any settings that could fix this. Please please help!

To add more info, this happens only on the discrete graphics (but it did *not* used to), integrated graphics works fine.

I tried some updates from Lenovo (1, 2, 3) but none of it had any effect
What more could I do?

Another strange thing today - when I woke up, the laptop which was in sleep mode was extremetly hot! I was even unable to start it so after forced shut down and boot, TPFan showed 66 °C
Normally it's nicely cold in the morning.

What is going on??? Is this what I get for updating my system??

It is probably due to the newest bios version (3.19). Try downgrading bios to the previous version, 3.18. I had the same problem and this is how I fixed it.

Yeah, I did a BIOS upgrade shortly before this all started, could be it...

Or should I just wait for the next BIOS version?
