Screw needed for T400 disk-drive cover

#1 Post by hydrostarr » Fri Aug 27, 2010 1:41 pm

I lost a for my T400 disk-drive cover. Suggestions on where I can get replacements?

(Wouldn't mind getting a slew of replacement screws for both my T400 and my T60p...)

Go to a decent hardware store and look for a M3 x 3 mm screw.

Only slightly OT, I guess, but would you happen to know the size screw for hard drives. I have plenty of caddies, but always seem to come up short on screws. I had already thought about trying at the hardware store, but felt kind of dumb just showing them the tiny little screw and asking "you got any of these"?
Collection = T500 - R400 - X300 - X200 - T61 (14" WXGA+) - T61 (14.1" SXGA+) - T60 (15" SXGA+) - X40 - T43p - T43 - T42p - A30P - 600E
