T510 w/ 65W adapter?

The T510 looks like a nice way to get a FHD display without having to lug around that giant 135W AC adapter the W510 comes with. I see that the T510 ships with the 90W adapter (which isn't bad in terms of size/weight), but I wonder if the machine will run with the 65W adapter? Has anyone tried this? If it will run, is there a performance penalty like running the W510 with the 90W adapter?
Thanks
Jay

Until someone else comes along...I'm applying what I know from the previous T6x series here: If it has a discrete GPU, the 65W is not recommended, if it works at all.

It should be able to run on the 65W; my T400 with switchable runs fine and doesn't complain at boot. You MAY experience CPU throttling to stay within the adapter limits, but if you put in the battery, it might be able to draw from both sources and provide full speed. (This may also take a certain reboot procedure to work, but can't remember exactly.)

If your T510 has Intel graphics, then 65W is alright. If Nvidia graphics, then I would recommend 90W. Otherwise the 65W will get too hot and you might get some instability problems.

I'm using 65w adapter with my t60 since the beginning. t60 with Ati Radeon 1400.
It is not too hot and works fine.... (I never play, so the GPU is not working hard).
Give it a try!
