T500 WSXGA+ panel: 500:1 ratio and 80 deg. viewing angles?

So I was browsing my favorite panel database (the same one where I found the PVA panel for my X200) when I stumbled upon a panel by CMO, the N154Z3-L03, which offered some pretty impressive specs. Now it's a TN panel, but still, the stats look quite nice indeed: viewing angle is listed as 80x80x70x70 (L/R/U/D) and contrast ratio as 500:1. On paper at least it looks like what I'd expect from an AFFS panel, and even though I know the blacks won't be as nice as an AFFS or PVA unit, it still seems pretty impressive to say the least.
Does anyone happen to know what panel/panels was/were used in the T500s that shipped with WSXGA+ screens? I'd like to compare it to this CMO unit to see how they stack up...
Cheers,
Rob

The vertical actual viewing angles won't be anything close to 70/70 - colors will start shifting way before then, but it is the nature of TN panels. WSXGA+ panels that have been used in Thinkpads for the past few generations have consistently be said to be among the best TN panels one could find.

I know that the panels have gotten rave reviews (and indeed, I'm very, very happy with the one in the T500 that I have), I was just wondering what panel it might be.
FredGarvin's link is quite useful, and indicates that the panel in my T500 is either a Samsung or LG-Phillips. Neither of those panels appear in the database that I used to find the CMO one, unfortunately an on-paper comparison isn't possible.
