Sierra Wireless Mini PCIe for T410

Dear all,

sorry if this have been asked before, but i was wondering can Sierra Wireless MC8775 HSDPA for ThinkPad (FRU 42T0931) be installed on T410 system? Can it be installed manually (without going to Lenovo SC)?

Mine is 2518-GNA, and according to Lenovo site, it is WWAN upgradeable.

Can i use ThinkVantage software to use the modem or should i use the software from it? Please light on me, i have a 3G USB stick modem and familiar with basic dial-up settings, but this is the first time i will try to use WWAN on PCIe slot. I found a dummy SIMCard on the slot under the battery.
