I'm not sure what's so special about the Bluetooth Numpad that it won't work with the Bluetooth mouse. They should work.

I've had two devices (again: my LG cellphone and an MS Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000) connected as in I was using my BT mouse while transferring files from my T400 to my cellphone. I don't know exactly what lead_org is doing that causes him to be unable to connect two Bluetooth devices, but I myself am able to operate [at least] 2 Bluetooth devices simultaneously.
