Hello

Does anyone know when Lenovo will release successor of T410, which should be named T420 probably?

Any dates, anyone knows?

When they are ready.

If there is any solid news on that, it will be posted here by someone or other, and since there are no posts on it........

Cheers,

Hopefully by then, there would also be USB 3 on the T410 successor ;)

... and SATA 3 perfect for the coming SSDs ;)
Is really worth waiting for the SB vs a W510 Core i7-620M 15.6-in FHD LED (1920 x 1080) NVIDIA Quadro FX 880M - 1Go ??
A i7-620M should be cooler than a i7 820 QM ?

Hard to say whether to wait for SB. You are probably looking a 3-5 months for the SB-based redesign and shipping. SB should give a nice boost in performance though.

i7-620M should be cooler than i7-820QM.

For sure but I'm a bit afraid about SB fiability!?

SB is an evolutionary redesign of Nehalem (i7) CPU on 32nm. Primary improvement will occur in integrated graphics unit plus other power efficiencies. Going from C2D to i7 was a bigger jump.
