Hi all,
I'm looking for a T410 to buy. Few day ago, I have a T410's SN/PN, I checked and I have some question.

T410's SN is R820YPE, PN: 2516-APU.

When I check Product information, I have:

Product: ThinkPad T410i 2516-APU [change]
Operating system: All [change]

Original description: i3-330M(2.13GHz), 2GB RAM, 250GB HD, 14.1in 1280x800, Intel HD Graphics, CDRW/DVDRW, Intel 802.11bgn, Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure chip, Camera, 6c, WinXP Pro

When I view parts lookup, I have:


Depend on this parts lookup, i know information about RAM, display, battery, hard disk drive, cpu, windows and adapter.

So i have some question.
1. How to know this product have DVD or DVDRW? What parts?
2. How to know this product containt a camera, bluetooth? What parts? This product containt a camera, so i don't know its FRU (parts).
3. How to know this product containt a wwan upgradable or not?
4. How to know this product have a Intel 802.11 or ThinkPad 802.11bgn?
5. These line i don't understand, can you explain?

Googling the RAMBO drive part number shows it is indeed DVDRW and CDRW capable. The Intel Condor WLAN adapter looks like one of the Intel Wifi Link 1000's. A COA Label is the sticker on the bottom of the laptop that shows your serial number.

System Planar is just another way of referring to the motherboard.
The Planar Card sounds like another part of the motherboard, but I can't be sure.

As for the ... ..., I have no clue what that is.

As far as I can see, there doesn't seem to be Bluetooth or a camera.

They never put the camera in there. I don't have it listed on my parts look up either.

As already stated, the RAMBO is the DVDRW - i got the same one. I think there's a Rambo 7 also but maybe i was seeing things. I don't think you can get just a DVD with current Thinkpads these days, they all come with either DVDRW or Bluray (well maybe no BR no more )

All current Thinkpads should be WWAN upgradable if they don't have a WWAN card already installed.
