Questions about T410

I decided to upgrade from a T400 to a T410.
But this time, I decided to save a few bucks, I just want to confirm that I made the right choice. Hopefully someone here has the experience.
I want 8GB of RAM, but I only ordered the cheapest 4GB from Lenovo. NewEgg sells 8GB of RAM for $150. Lenovo wanted close to $400 to upgrade to 8GB.
Will this memory be ok, or should I get a different brand?

Second thing I saved on was the WWAN. It shows "upgradable". I assume that means that if I have a WWAN card, I can open up the laptop and install it. I assume the needed wiring, etc is there?
I will basically just take the AT&T card that I had in my T400 and use it.
Will this work?

Get the cheapest brand you can. In my experience, desktop/laptop memory is one of those upgrades that "either works or it doesn't." Get some of whatever the cheapest brand is, run a good couple of cycles of memtest86+, and return it if it fails.

Assuming that the card is a Lenovo-branded one (i.e. has an FRU), I assume it would. Otherwise, you're going to run into problems with the BIOS whitelist.
