T410i: Improper power meter reading
Posted: Fri Nov 05, 2010 10:48 am
I am using a T410i. [Win 7 Pro, Intel Core i3-330M (2.13GHz, 3MB L3, 1066MHz), 2GB, 320GB/7200rpm, Intel HD Graphics.]
My power meter was showing that I have 50% power left. But then, i got a message saying that as my battery is 6% my machine is going to hibernate. Then my power meter showed 6%. All my softwares are upto date.
Is it as serious issue of is it fine??? This same thing has repeated a couple of times.
Just for your info, I have couple of other issues also. Not sure if these are causing the issue with the battery.
Pls advice.

- If my track point and touch pad are active, i get a "Synaptics TouchPad Enhancements has stopped working" error. Tried updating the drivers many times. But no luck. Now I have set to "only track point".
- My machine is rather slow and bumpy compared to my compaq with win xp sp2 running on dual core with 1gb ram. I know its not a proper comparison. I know win 7 is much diff compared to win xp.
Pls advice.
