Getting DHCP server not responding error

When I try to connect my new Thinkpad T410 to wireless network at home, I get DHCP server not responding error. I could connect to same wireless router from another Dell laptop, but no luck with TP. Has anybody faced similar issues before? If yes, then w hat was solution.

Connection status: Not connected
Cause: DHCP server not responding.
Error code: 031

The DHCP server on this network failed to respond to the request your system made for automatic IP address configuration. To force another request, click Repair. If the problem persists, contact your network administrator.

Can you ping an IP address beyond your router? Or, can you get to the following website in a webbrowser?

nope. Ping returned Host is unreachable. IE gave the page cannot be displayed error.

Run this from a command prompt and post the results here;

ipconfig /all
