Hello,

It doesn't look like the T1410s Series 3 dock will do Dual-Link DVI. http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... 72873.html So I bought a Accell DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter (http://www.accellcables.com/products/Di ... p_dvid.htm) and while most of the time I have no issues... Sometimes I'll dock and cant get the video to go to 2560 x 1600, it gets stuck at 800x600.

Anyone else have a setup like this that can help?

I've got:

Monitor 1: DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI adapter to a 30" at 2560x1600
Monitor 2: DisplayPort to 24" at 1920x1200

Have u tried a DP to DVI cable (instead of an adaptor). This just sounds like an adaptor problem to me.

You can only get up to 1920x1200 with Single-Link DVI, that's all that they pump out of those DVI ports on the back of the docking station. Funny becuase I think the old T6x series docking stations did Dual-Link DVI.. To get to 2560x160 you need to go DP and my monitor only does Dual Link DVI-D. A simple DP to DVI-D can only to Single-Link DVI. You need an adapter to process both "links."

Also, I dont think that's the issue because, here's another example... Computer monitors both went to sleep over night (not the computer, just the monitors) and when I started them back up.. The one connected with the Dual-Link DVI-D adapter came up just fine but the one that's going from the docking station's DP to the monitor's DP didnt wake up.. Its also a nice HP LP2475w monitor, never had this problem until I went to DP. I have to go back into Screen Resolution and enable it again, it's alsmost like the DP port is not alwasy listening to PnP and so when it wakes back up it resets the display settings. Or something like that is happening, maybe not exactly that since the drivers would have turned the monitor on instead of leaving it off.
