Print spooler service stops when T410 is docked

User has 6-month old T410 - Win 7 Pro with a Series 3 (4336) port replicator. System worked fine until a couple days ago, when all the printers disappeared (1 USB, 3 networked). The spooler service had stopped, and could not be restarted. Everything else works okay -- network drives, web, MSO. Took the T410 off of the dock and connected all the cables directly to the PC -- spooler starts, all printers are there & work. Put all the wires back to the port replicator, docked the PC, fired it up -- no printers, spooler won't stay running. Then tried the system on a co-workers port replicator, and the system worked fine!
So, everything points to the 4336, but that's hard to believe -- I've never seen a port replicator impact a Windows service. But what else could it be?
Thanks,
Jim

Replaced the port replicator with a new unit and now everything works fine. Strange . . .
