Estimating the value of a T400

This Lenovo T400 is a type 6475-GD1 with on site warranty until January 16, 2012.
The battery shows green with 26 cycles. Cosmetically it seems reasonably clean, with a bright screen. The OS is Windows Vista Business.
Before I think about selling it, or giving it to a relative, or donate it to a charity, I'd like to have some idea of the probable value.
Any response will be appreciated.

I'd say $300-350. It's a very low end model despite being somewhat recent.

I would say $400-450+
Use eBay, search the model, then on the left side click completed sales to get a good idea as to current street prices.
These are actual SOLD units.

Product: ThinkPad T400 6475-GD1
Original description: Based on 6475-R1U: P8400(2.26GHz), 1GB RAM, 160GB 7200rpm HD, 14.1in 1280x800 LCD, Intel X4500HD, CDRW/DVD, Intel 802.11agn wireless, WWAN upgradeable, Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure chip, 9c Li-Ion, WinVista Business 32
This is a basic, but nice T400. I'd say $400 or so, considering the condition of unit and battery.

Thanks to all responders. It looks like it is too valuable for a grandchild; which is part of the reason I was curious.
