T400s warranty extension

Hi,

I have a T400s, bought it on ebay (originally from UK).
Warranty expires in 2 weeks (2801, R8-ZXDTG).

Coumputer offers the possibility of warranty extension.
The necessary FRU# 45K5971, 2Year Basic Warranty extension.

How can I buy it? The Lenovo Slovenia says they cannot sell this for my notebook.
Online I cannot pay with paypal : it gives an error. Lenovo registration not possible (address not in US, UK,..)

Do you know how can I order and pay this warranty extension (online)?

You cannot. Lenovo will not apply a US warranty extension to a UK laptop. Been there, done that. They might actually sell it to you, but it won't be activated, and you'll have to go through a ridiculous process to find out the reason and get your money back.

You need to call some Lenovo branch in Europe and find out what the warranty extension options they have. I believe, Slovenia and UK will have the same options, so you will be able to purchase it.

Lenovo's warranty extension system is ridiculously complicated and IMO stupid. I've been told they are working to fix it, but I'm not holding my breath.
