T510 recovery media work on a T410?

I've misplaced my recovery discs and of naturally deleted the recovery partition on my T410. My friend has a T510 and I'm wondering if recovery discs burned off of his machine will work on mine. We're both on Win 7 Pro 64.

Depends how different the configurations are. Not sure what happens w.r.t. product keys though.

No, i try this with t400 and t500, not working;(

How doesn't it work? A T400 and T500 should be similar enough for it to work.
