MultiTouch Screen Option on T420s

Hey there,

Does anyone know if Lenovo will be offering a MultiTouch Screen option on the T420s? I've been needing a new notebook to replace my bought new T42 that has served me very well but had been holding off doing it. And, of course, as Murphy's Law dictates, when the HDD in it finally died a couple of days ago I go the the Lenovo site to spec one out only to find that there doesn't seem to be a multitouch screen or switchable graphics option. I have been able to ascertain that switchable graphics is coming but can't find any references relating to the multitouch screen. My apologies if this question has already been answered - I tried search the forums but couldn't find anything.

Thanks,

The lid rollcage is now no longer a metallic magnesium alloy, but rather a "hybrid carbon-fiber reinforced plastic".

Discrete Optimus graphics are now available for the non -s models, but apparently not yet for the T420s.

... and the change is lid roll cage implies that a multitouch screen won't be offered? Sorry, I'm not knowledgable enough be able to connect the dots on my own....

Pretty sure there's no relationship between lid rollcage material and whether or not a multitouch screen will be offered.

Just an FYI that the current tabook.pdf is showing a T420s Model 4173 with switchable graphics although it is not yet available for purchase on the website.
