Nvidia optimus technology

How do I know if I have this or not? I have a Thinkpad T510 (4314-2PU)...

And if I do have it, is this something I specifically have to turn on/off or does it somehow automatically switch from discrete to integrated and vice/versa.

From the Lenovo support site, it says you only have the discrete (not Optimus) graphics.

Optimus provides power savings for longer battery life, but you can improve your power consumption situation using this tool to configure PowerMizer to more optimum battery settings:
