T420/520 - "standard", s & i models - what's the difference?

Apologies if this information is here somewhere, but I did search.

As title - is there something which clarifies the difference? There's nothing obvious which jumps out of the specs except that the s is thinner (but is it otherwise the same?) and does the i just mean integrated graphics (yet the "standard version can come with that?)??

the T4*0s is a completely diffrent machine from the T420 and the T420i - it has a smaller main bay (7mm), smaller battery, less battery life and is all around slimmer and lighter.
The T420i is just a T420 with a i3 processor, and it is identical to the plain T420. Unless you need the thinnest 14" thinkpad you can get, I would reccomend a T420(i) over a T420s.
