Such a Thing as a "Check Up"

I couldn't find anything on this through googling, but basically the T400 I will be receiving this coming week has a warranty that expires in June. Is it possible to send it in to Lenovo and have them "Check Up" on everything? Because other than that it is highly unlikely that anything will go wrong in less than a month of remaining warranty.

Also, the machine is being shipped from the US to where I live, the UK. Will the warranty be honored in my case?

There is no such thing as a 'check up' . If you run the gamut of tests included in Thinkvantage Toolbox you'll have a 'check-up'. The warranty will be valid if it is an internationally supported machine type/model. Which is?

Thanks harryc, that's what I suspected. I planned to run those tests anyway, so they most likely couldn't do much more than that anyways.

The Machine Type is 2767-XH6. It is a refurb, and the refurb warranty expired but the original warranty is still active.
