T410s switchable graphics - OpenCL

#1 Post by DarkoLord » Mon May 09, 2011 7:36 am

Hi,

does anyone have any idea how to enable te OpenCL functionalitiy on the NVS 3100M on the T410s with switchable graphics? It seems the OpenCL drivers are included in all the recent drivers, however the drivers for the switchable graphics model on the Lenovo web site are quite old and apparently do not have OpenCL drivers included... I guess I could force the installation of the lastest version of the official Nvidia drivers, however I would probably lose the switching functionality...

Thanks.
Darko

Depends. Do you have the conventional switchable or the Optimus switchable?

If you have Optimus you can just install the latest Optimus drivers and you will not lose the instant switching.
