Have a T420 with integrated Intel 3000 graphics hardware, Solidworks will NOT utilize hardware acceleration, is there any way to add Nvidia 4200M GPU after the fact???

Have 70 of them sitting on the dock right now, big problem!!!

Nope, they are BGAs soldered right onto the motherboard. See about returning them and reordering what you need.

You'd have to swap out the motherboard (voids warranty, not too easy) or return it for a NVidia equipped model.

I think Lenovo might waive the restocking fee if you're upgrading to a higher priced model.

Or take the money it would other wise cost to upgrade and get a viddock.

What do you mean get a viddock? You can add graphics capability to a DOCK?
