I need to figure out what type of adapter cable I need to connect it to my DVI-only monitor. Could someone take a look at the DisplayPort logo next to the port itself on their T520, and tell me which of the three listed on this site it looks like?

any DP->dvi will work.

the port on thinkpads is a DP++ port.
