I replaced my LCD screen a few months ago, I now I periodically get a horizontal line across the middle of my screen. If I wiggle it or tap the back of the screen it goes away and it looks fine again.

Is this caused by:
1) bad cable\connection
2)Inverter
3)screen?

Any ideas are appreciated!

It's a loose/defective row driver in the LCD. The fix is to replace the LCD.

That is what I was afraid of.

The ebay seller indicated a 3 month warranty, but I am highly skeptical of actually getting a replacement from the seller in china. Is anyone on this forum selling a 14 wide WGXA+ Screen?
