Do T500 and T520 use the same battery / slot?

Just a quick question.
If I buy a T520 with 6 cell battery, will the 9 cell battery from my T500 fit this new computer?

No. Batteries changed between 500 and 510 series.

sigh... i was hoping to get that 6 cell so I'd have 2 batteries on hand, and could switch when i needed

Just order it with the 9-cell and you will probably never need to switch.
