T420 Wireless after undocking??

I recently switched from a T400 to a T420 with 64-bit Win 7 Pro. I use a docking station at work and the wireless turns off automatically when the system is docked which is fine. My problem (or annoyance) is when removing the laptop from the dock. Each time I do so, I have to manually turn on the wireless (Fn+F5 option) - the wireless card is the 6250 AGN. I have searched this and other forums as well as options on the laptop. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
