Seeking advise - Upgrade my t520 from 1366 to 1920

I found a thread that was for the T510 regarding upgrading the 1366x768 panel to a higher 1920x1200 using the AUO B156HW01 V4 panel.

I asked asked on that thread if this was also the same part that was needed to update my T520's display. It was suggested that I open a new thread.

So, there you go. Does anyone know if it is possible for me to upgrade my T520's display using this panel? if not , which should I use.

My company bought me this T520 beast - Core i7 i7-2620M with 8GB of memory, I slapped in an Intel 80GB SSD and used the 500GB hdd for storage in an ultrabay carrier. All fantastic, except... The display they went with was a 1366*768 and it is killing me! Arggggh. This laptop replaced a t61p that had the 1920*1200 display and frankly it is driving me insane.

I would greatly appreciate any assistance in this matter. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

You can sub in a 1920x1080, not 1920x1200.

It's possible, but is a significant task, and also voids your warranty.

Thanks for the reply. Now 1920x1080 is certainly way better than what I am stuck with now  .

Is the AUO B156HW01 V4 panel what I should use? if so I will order it right now!

thanks in advance for the assistance

Bought panel, installed, worked. Please close thread and thanks for your reply Colonel. Thanks for reading it all of the other 81 members that looked and didn't comment.
Safe to say that I will no longer come to this forum.
