Hi all. I have an LCD panel that was originally from an SL500. It is an FRU 42T0534 and model LTN154AT07-002. Would anyone know off-hand if panels used in an SL500 would be somehow testable on a T61 widescreen board? Just asking because I have no use for the panel and if the panel is working fine (previous owner says it is fine) then I would like to put it up for sale in the marketplace. TIA.

I would say NO.
The SL500 screen uses a different LCD-cable and inverter from any Standard or Widescreen T60/T61!
The SL500 screen connector looks the same (30-pin at 1mm spacing), but is completely differently wired from the T60/T61 LCD.
That SL500 (WXGA) has only wires between pins 1 and 20, the "matching" T6x uses all 30 wires.
The SL500 mobo connector is also completely different from the T6x connector.

Ah OK that does make sense. The connector does look different between the both of them. Thanks RBS!
