SL500 upgrade to WSXGA+

#1 Post by xebbmw » Sat Oct 03, 2015 7:41 am

Hi all,

I have an SL500 with a WXGA screen.

I might be able to get a screen LTN154P3-L02 quite cheap to upgrade to WSXGA+. The screen seems to be a CCFL screen (see here https://www.screencountry.com/index.php ... N154P3-L02).

The question is which cable should fit. In HMM for WSXGA+ there are listed two P/N for cables: 44C5375 and 44C9957.

Does anybody know what is the difference between the two P/N?

T43 15" IPS (M780, 2Gb RAM, 200Gb SATA HDD, SXGA+ 1400x1050 IPS)
T43 14"
T601 Frankenpad 15" (T9600, 4Gb RAM, 4:3 UXGA 1600x1200)

The 44C9957 is for the LED screen.
Lovely day for a Guinness! (the Real Black Stuff). And pigs CAN fly!

I'm pretty interested in this too, but I have the SL400c. Is the wiring different?
