SL500 vs. Y550

Hi,
I need to display streaming a/v off Internet onto a 1080P Plasma panel using HDMI port.
This is mainly used for this purpose. Which one would be better choice? And any tips on doing this appreciated. I am a long time TP loyalist.

It doesn't matter. Any notebook with HDMI out will handle the task. For what it's worth, I put more faith in the SL series than in the Ideapad.
