A few SL410 Questions

I am starting to consider a replacement of my trusty T42 (2378DUU)

I have seen the new SL410 online, and there is a version at Best Buy that seems pretty good, but has a few shortcomings.

> Can bluetooth be added to a model without it?
> If so how difficult?
> Assuming that upgrading to a 500GB HD in the future will not be too tough. (It's an option on T400, but not SL Series..?)

Also
> I have read that Blu-ray is an option, but I am not seeing that anywhere as an option when I configure one at lenovo's website.

I also am considering a T400, but HDMI seems to only be an option on 15" Models, and I prefer a 14" screen.

Suggestions?

The T410 will have DisplayPort. No Thinkpads other than SL have HDMI, unfortunately.

Upgrading the hard drive is a piece of cake in 99% of the notebooks, SL410 included. Bluetooth can be added fairly simply to, by installing a small addon module, known as the Bluetooth Daughter Card. From what I am seeing in the Hardware Maintenance Manual, it is even simpler on the SL410 than on the average laptop - you only have to remove the palmrest, and nothing else.

BluRay does exist as an option, at least for the SL510, according to same HMM, but indeed I have not yet seen many models offered with it. 2847-23U is mentioned as one, but no one seems to offer it.
