SL 510 battery issue

#1 Post by zlad » Tue Apr 27, 2010 2:45 pm

Hi!

My girlfriend has an SL510 and she randomly - but not rarely - gets this warning message:

"The battery installed in this computer is not a genuine Lenovo battery and may not meet Lenovo's safety and quality standards. Double click to learn abut genuine Lenovo batteries."

Of course a genuine lenovo battery is installed on this machine so the problem is not that obvious.
The computer is up to date, all thinkvantage stuffs, bios updates, etc.
Has anyone experienced this problem before? Any idea? Thanks in advance!

Hi!

Thanks for your answer. The problem, maybe temporarily, disappeared so I didn't do anything yet but I will the same that you did if it happens again. Sorry for my english, too.:)
