SL500 Power Supply Issue

So the charger port on my brother's SL500 has cracked down the middle and will not recieve power anymore.
I looked up how to open it up and replace it, but I am unable to find a replacement port anywhere besides ebay, which I don't trust at all.
any ideas?

You're kind of limited on choice there. I don't recall ever seeing these jacks anywhere else beside EBay. There may be individual reseller websites, but whose to say they're any more reliable than EBay.

Is it possible to replace the power supply? maybe they come with a new jack. I'm kinda freaking out here.
