Hello! I am using thinkpad sl400. I guess I just started experiencing my problem when my nephew played games with my laptop. I keep on receiving message about filter keys and sticky keys during startup. I have been clicking no but after that I still experience problems such as, when i click an icon in ctrl panel or desktop all other icons are highlighted, moreover, the capslock and shift keys don't work correctly. For example when i press capslock, all characters are in small letters, but when it is not pressed, all characters are in upper case. This also happens with the shift key. Plus all numeric keypads on top of the keyboard are not responsive, including the characters <>?:"{} and others I may have not tested yet. Please help.

From Control Panel -> Accessibility Options -> Keyboard you should be able to turn off Sticky Keys and Filter Keys. The in the "Settings" disable "Use shortcut" for both of them, and it should take care of them being activated by mistake in the future.
