R400 Fingerprint Drivers

#1 Post by CrazyTPFan » Sat Oct 13, 2018 11:48 am

Hi all, I installed Windows 10 not so long ago and everything is going well. But, I went to go install the fingerprint reader drivers on Windows 10 and the drivers said that it wasn't compatible with my OS. The drivers I downloaded are for Windows 7 (64-bit) and I thought that they would work with Windows 10. I guess I was wrong :( but, if anyone can point me in the right direction please do so. Thanks!

Your R400 uses the AuthenTec AES2810 fingerprint reader, right? If it is, this is the driver that you should be looking for.

@Screamer Thank you, I didn't think that the Dell drivers would work after looking at a post on lenovo's forum.

I can confirm, that the driver works.
You have to unzip the package, go to the device manager, select the fingerprint sensor and update the driver
