I can't figure out how to do this in order to install windows 10.

I went through startup and selected all three USB options but none of them are "finding" the flashdrive with the w10 image i wrote to it.

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong here.

Is there just no way to get the r400 to boot from a flashdrive? I just got a 32GB i'm trying to use for this. Also tried using a SD card in a USB hub but that wasn't recognized either.

Yes. When you first start the computer, press the F12 key repeatedly and select the flash drive to boot. Also, check how you are burning windows 10 onto the flash drive. The easiest way (in windows) for me was to use "Rufus" iso to usb burner. It always worked for me. Also, try the drive in another computer and see if you can view the files. You may have a bad USB stick.

The easiest way to make a Windows USB boot drive is to use the Microsoft Windows 7 USB Tool. Straight from the horses mouth and works for all the WinPE versions of Windows from Vista and onward.
