Internal microphone not working t420

don't know if this is the right place. T420 Windows 7 64 bit.

microphone not working with web cam (Many Cam) got usb to work with audacity, but internal doesn't work at all.

also Fn+F6 function doesn't work
Fn works with everything else

No green bars on test, but works with windows movie maker now ?????

You might have to poke around to find where the microphone is muted. If it works with one application but not others, then it's a software setting in either the application (look for Settings or Options) OR Windows (Control Panel/Sound).
