R500 Recovery Disks

Hello All

I just recieved my R500...

I was wondering how would i be able to make recovery disks? I don't see any CDs that came with the laptop...is the recovery disks inside the HD already and I just need to burn it from there?

Yes you need to burn the recovery discs off your machine. It's how it's done these days. Very few manufacturers hand out discs anymore. Create Recovery Media should be in the ThinkVantage folder.
