R500 internal Microphone making wiered noise

Hi All,
I just bought new Lenovo thinkpad R500 2 days ago and when I am using my Microphone it starts making wiered sounds like a scary movie or horror show, I am not sure this issue is regarding the driver or physical mic it self !!

I am using mic with gtalk application havent used with any other application yet but will try it.
I have Windows vista Business 64 bit.

My audio driver is Conexant high defination smart audio 221 version 4.56.0.0
I tried reinstalling the driver but dint work that way.

Let me know if anybody has any solution.

It is possible that your internal mic picks up sound made by internal electronics...

You have a known problem, but the 64-bit Vista driver isn't quite ready for prime time. You can follow developments here:
