Hi,
My lenovo Thinkpad R500 has just arrived. I first jumped into updating whatever was possible, including the bios.
I didn't check if the camera was working before the bios upgrade, but now in any case it is nowhere to be detected. The device manager has nothing about imaging or camera devices. When looking on the lenovo site for drivers, i found a driver, but while running the installer, it complains "Integrated Camera has not found". So my guess is that it is either broken by the bios, or physically/electronically broken.
Any ideas that i can try to fix things? I also installed linux, and there I have the same problem: no trace of presence of a cam.
integrated camera dead on arrival?
